Logistics Manager - ASP

- Manage weekly planning meetings with department managers to set priorities and craft schedules. Distribute schedule weekly and update as necessary.
- Assist in managing the scheduling of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities throughout the plant and review results/remedies with Engineering and other site personnel.
- Ensure high availability of plant equipment through an efficient Equipment Reliability program.
- Advise Plant Manager of daily schedule activities and concerns. Also advise Plant Manager of any plant equipment issues.
- Lead the development of processes and procedures to safely and effectively maintain Acciona renewable generating facilities for “Best in Class Performance”.
- Ensure safety compliance of plant personnel and subcontractors in accordance with federal, state and local laws, and Acciona requirements.
- Set up contractors for project job walks as necessary. Review and provides bid analysis.
- Develop bill of materials required for each work order and special projects.
- Procure material and services in support of plant O&M activities.
- Ensure all material and services are available and ready for each scheduled work order.
- Proficiently perform Root Cause Analysis to accurately determine failure mode and cause.
- Expeditious input of accurate purchase orders in purchasing system.
- Negotiate pricing/scope/terms with contractors.
- Track costs of major O&M projects and activities.
- Facilitate development of employees by providing, feedback, and continuous coaching/mentoring.  Identify further training and education to enhance employee growth and continuous improvement in job performance.
- Act as back up to Plant Manager as necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Minimum 2-4 years’ of logistics/planning experience in a power generation or similar industrial facility.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ of Reliability/Maintenance experience in a steam cycle power generation facility.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ of Purchasing/Supply Chain management in a power generation or similar industrial facility.
- 3 years’ supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work in a 24/7/365 environment and in extreme weather conditions.
- Strong critical thinking and analysis skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective corrective action.
- Possess a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting and contract implementation.
- Experience with a maintenance management and purchasing system.
- Able to work independently.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 10% – 20% to domestic and international locations.
