Coleman Rail is a specialist rail infrastructure contractor experienced in delivering both light and heavy rail construction and maintenance projects across brownfield and greenfield environments. An integral part of the ACCIONA group of companies in Australia, Coleman Rail boosts ACCIONA offering across the rail sector allowing us to undertake the design & construction of almost all of the individual components that collectively make up the fixed rail infrastructure of a rail network.
We are currently seeking interest from suitably qualified and experienced Site Engineers, Project Engineers and Supervisors for several large and small rail projects across the state of Victoria. With the option of working in our Minor Works Team, the Ballarat Line Upgrade or the Southern Project Alliance now is the time to join.

Site Engineers ideally will have a Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related technical discipline, 2+ years’ experience on large civil (ideally rail) projects and demonstrable exposure to site management principles.
Project Engineers require a degree in Engineering, 5+ year’s Australian construction experience on a civil project (ideally rail) and experience in managing site trade staff and contractors. The ability to undertake complex and high volume business projects is desirable as well as proven experience in successful completion of a project on schedule and within budget. Ability to build relationships and ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to work health and safety standards is essential.
Supervisors (Rail) The Supervisor is responsible and accountable for onsite project performance. With you in control of the day-to-day activities, your sites must be both safe and productive, with works built right the first time. You must be able to communicate and plan activities in advance, organise day-to-day labour and plant resources to ensure the works are completed within the construction budget and program, and direct manage subcontractors. It is desirable that you have +10 years’ hands-on experience as a Supervisor / Leading Hand in rail or associated industry, Trade Certificate and a RIW Card.
