Coleman Rail is looking for a Continuous Improvement & Innovation Advisor to assist the Head CI&I to develop and implement a Continuous Improvement Strategy and framework to identity and yield ongoing and sustainable improvements in time, cost, and quality across the construction industry value chain for the Southern Program Alliance (SPA) level crossing removals and other works.
As an experienced Continuous Improvement & Innovation Advisor your role will be to work with relevant SME’s to to identify and agree productivity benchmarks, targets and KPI’s, de-bottleneck and resolve conflicting targets as they arise. Whilst working collaboratively with cross-functional teams you will ensure CI capability building offers and templates or tools provided are understood.
Your role will be (but not limited) to:
- Lead and collaborate with diversified teams to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and wider community
- Act as an agent for change and apply effective change management skills for driving change in the business, inspiring teamwork, and using creative analysis and problem solving
- Assist the Head CI&I shift the mindset of senior teams to frontline with the creation and adoption of a shared vision and language through Fit-for-Purpose CI&I.
As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, with significant experience across a broad range of industries, including high-risk and heavily regulated environments, you will be no stranger when it comes to change management. A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology or Engineering discipline with previous ‘’hands on’’ experience in managing various Industry Systems (OHS, Environment and Quality Management). Design, Engineering and/or Rail Industry experience will be advantageous.
