Coleman Rail (S.A.) is proudly involved in the delivery of high quality Minor Works Services for the Department of Planning Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI). Due to planned growth and very busy workbook we are opening our doors to provide someone the opportunity to take their career to the next level.


We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer who’s worked on a variety of Australian infrastructure projects who would be interested in a growth opportunity as an Estimator in our Adelaide Head Office. Reporting to the Regional Construction Manager you will be in charge of assisting with and providing quality, consistent and financially responsible estimates and minor works project management.

Ideally you will have a degree in an Engineering related discipline and have a knowledge of estimating practices and procedures gained from your experience in a construction engineering environment. Ideally, you will have the ability to close the loop on tender unknowns (scope, quantities, and prices), and update cost/time/scope/quality aspects from lessons learned and can quickly succinct items requiring clarification from Senior Management.


To position your application on top, we want a strong cost focused project coordinator/engineer who has a proficiency in estimating systems (Expert Estimation or Pronamics) and related software (Civilex and AutoCAD), combined with the necessary industry Construction Induction and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
