ACCIONA has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract to build the East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility. Under the contract, ACCIONA will deliver the project in partnership with Hitachi Zosen INOVA (HZI), the world-leading technology provider and equipment supplier, bringing the next generation of innovation to the Australian waste management and resource recovery sector.
ACCIONA are seeking an HR Advisor to help coordinate the people component of this fantastic project. Reporting to the Project Director this role will provide support to all HR activities and provide the full range of HR services and activities including talent pipeline, recruitment, onboarding, initiate strategies and support organisational matters, while partnering with the business to help people management, probationary period and annual performance reviews, assisting with training needs analysis, talent assessment, salary review process, employee exits, general HR/IR Advice and additional HR initiatives.
Required Skills and Competencies
To be selected or this role you possess a relevant tertiary degree with experience as an HR generalist for a small to medium sized business (construction engineering experience highly desirable). You will have knowledge of the relevant legislation (Building Code, EEO) and current best practice HR practices.
Progressing your career from a similar engineering related company will be advantageous but not essential to this role. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and promote equality and diversity.
